Ductwork

Ductwork is composed of two parts, supply (hot air) and return (cold air). Supply duct is attached to the outflow of the heating system, delivering hot air to each room in your home. The amount of air reaching each room is determined by the size of supply ductwork connecting it to your system. We can help you determine the size of all the supply ductwork in your home.

The second part of the ductwork, the cold return duct, attaches to the inlet of the new system and draws air out of the spaces to be heated or cooled. Attached to the return duct is your filter. The filter should be placed as near to your furnace or air handler as possible. Ductwork can be either fiberglass or metal and must be properly sized in order to evenly distribute the proper amount of air to each room.

High quality registers and grilles are engineered to deliver the maximum air flow into the room and are designed to mix the air properly within the room, creating increased comfort by eliminating hot or cold spots and greatly reducing the air noise level. Custom colors and materials are available by special order.
